PIR Sensor
The PIR motion sensor module is designed to detect movement from people and other warm objects by sensing changes in infrared radiation. It is widely used in Arduino, home-automation, security, lighting, and occupancy-detection projects.
The module provides a simple digital output that can be read by a microcontroller to trigger lights, buzzers, alarms, cameras, relays, or other actions when motion is detected. It is commonly used in automatic lighting, intruder-alert prototypes, smart-room systems, and educational electronics experiments.
Its simple interface and low control complexity make it an effective sensor for adding motion awareness to embedded projects.
Features:
• Detects motion from infrared changes
• Digital output for easy interfacing
• Adjustable behavior on common module versions
• Useful for security and automation projects
